Day 10: Back to the Deadlift! (Week2)

What an awesome workout session this was today. Holy shit. Glad I’m able to do deadlifts again! The preworkout really hit hard today 😀

Back Day

  • Warmup:
    5min Cardio, Stepper
  • Low Row, Sitting Cable:
    20kg, 30 reps, 1 set
    40kg, 12 reps, 1 set
    50kg, 12 reps, 1 set
    55kg, 12 reps, 2 sets

    This will be in my back routine from now on. I don’t know why I didn’t do this earlier. It doesn’t cause stress on my elbow, like the machine did, and it hits my lat and rhomboids way better!

  • Frontsquat:
    15kg, 20 reps, 2 sets

    Didn’t feel right today. Don’t know why. I messed up, so I didn’t raise the weigth. Next time I’ll do better.

  • Deadlift:
    30kg, 12 reps, 1 set
    42kg, 8 reps, 1 set
    50kg, 8 reps, 1 set
    62kg, 8 reps, 2 sets

    Blood (on my shins), sweat and nearly tears! 😀 Really destroyed myself with those sets, which was really fun.

  • Shrugs with Barbell:
    42kg, 30 reps, 1 set
    50kg, 25 reps, 1 set
  • Biceps Iso, Sitting:
    17,5kg, 10 reps, 1 set
    10kg, 6 reps, 1 set

    Biceps was already dead from the rows and deadlifts before, so it didn’t need much more work.

  • Leg Extension Machine (Quads!):
    20kg, 20 reps, 1 set
    20kg, 12 reps, 3 sets (oh the burn…!)
  • Cooldown:
    5min walking
